Evaluating U.S. High Schools
In the U.S., the reputation and prestige of a high school is shaped by the very public reporting of a high school’s performance against a relatively small set of evaluative criteria. Outlets such as NICHE, Great Schools, and US News & World Report give your community, your families, your elected officials, and prospective donors a read on how well your high school is performing by reporting how well your school stacks up against four (4) key metrics:
1. The number of Advanced Placement or dual-credit courses that your high school offers.
2. The Graduation rates and college placement statistics of your senior class
3. The total amount of scholarships offered to your school’s college-bound students
4. And the average SAT and ACT scores of your school’s college-bound student population

The Power of Comprehensive Test Prep
There is no debate, test prep helps students improve their SAT & ACT test scores. According to the College Board, thorough test prep helps students improve their SAT scores by anywhere from 100-400 incremental points.
But here’s the problem we all face…. when left to manage the test prep process on their own, 44.8% of students actually spend 10 hours or less studying or preparing to take the SAT.
